Noble: “Manager doesn’t know best X1 yet”

MarkNobleMark Noble claims that Sam Allardyce still probably has no idea what his best team is because of injuries.

It sounds an all too familiar story but the midfielder is desperate to see players returning to action quickly.

Noble is today reported as claiming after the 2-0 defeat by Malaga yesterday: “We need another striker and we are light on players at the moment.

“I don’t think the manager knows his best eleven at the minute with players getting injured and others not quite fit yet.

Currently the Irons have Andy Carroll (ankle) Carl Jenkinson (hamstring),  James Tomkins (groin), Guy Demel (groin) and Leo Chambers (hamstring) all sidelined with Enner Valencia set to be ready within three weeks.

  1. Nothing new in Allardyce not knowing his best team is there?
