Noble on a period of readjustment

Mark Noble is adjusting to life at Rush Green quickly and likes what he sees.

The captain said: ” I have been used to going to Chadwell Heath every morning for the last 12 years but we are here to play football. That’s our job. “

He told the official site: “We had a warm-down session on Monday and the real test will be over the next couple of days when we are fully at it.”

Slaven Bilic has welcomed Enner Valencia back and with Manuel Lanzini a possible squad member for the Swansea match, the injury situation is looking better.

And with Dimitri Payet also ahead of schedule Noble says: “It is great news for the club that we are starting to get back the injured players. All credit to the lads as we went away to Manchester United and got a point, we had a good draw at home against Stoke which was an entertaining game to watch.

“We have dug in well and sometimes you need to ride those moments when you get a bit of bad luck. We have hit the post a lot in the last few weeks but we have not lost a game.

“We have come away with two clean sheets and it puts you in good stead for the rest of the season.”

He needs to use his head now, play within his ability, work his socks off, control his temper and lead by example,
It’s crunch time with Kouyate assured of his place because he never plays badly,
Song will be back to his best in another couple of weeks and is a different class,
Obiang already in a lot of fans eyes offers something different to the 3 above and for me would play away from home before Mark,
Zarate,Lanzini and Payet offer more than Mark in the forward midfield roles,
Callum and Oxford are pushing for midfield roles,
Antonio and Moses will join Jelavic and Sakho for the forward role with Carroll,
Mark is totally different to all of them understands our club and fans,he must win his place by becoming a great leader with bundles of energy,
Great times ahead can’t understand any fan without a big smile on there face
Leicester and Bournemouth have proved in the last couple of weeks that our defeats to them were not just poor performances by us,
