Noble puts Payet’s position on the line

|

Payet & NobleMark Noble has demolished every piece of speculation that Dimi Payet is uncommitted to West Ham United.

In one of the most forthright interviews given by the skipper he told talkSPORT: Dimi is fully committed, I can tell you that now.

“He is great with the lads and I have got a very close bond with Dimi.

“I see him train every day, I see how he feels when we lose games.”

But the Irons skipper believes  it’s time the rest of the team to step up and take the pressure off their playmaker.

He said: “If that free-kick doesn’t go in last night, it might have been a different story. He scores from 30 yards again and gets us back into the game.

“In the Premier League now, you need that player that can be very special at times when you need him.

“[But] the club needs to stop relying on him. We need, as players, to stop relying on him and help him out.

“The stats don’t lie and he has created the most amount of chances in Europe.

“He has still been one of the best players for sure in the Premier League this season. It’s up for the other players to score those chances he creates. He can’t cross it and score himself!”
