Noble ready for punishing end to season

Mark NobleMark Noble has warned that unless the Irons play their “best game” they will be turned over at Spurs on Sunday.

And he believes the same is true of the final set of games – several of which are against teams in the bottom half of the table.

Assessing Sunday’s game, the midfielder said: “I think they are a different team now. Mauricio Pochettino has got them playing very well and obviously they’ve got the likes of Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane is flying now.”

Speaking to www.whufc.com he added: “They’ve got a good team and a good squad and it’s going to be tough, so we need to go there and play our best game, or else we’ll get turned over.”

The Irons have Crystal Palace and Chelsea at home in the space of five days folowing tthe White Hart lane fixture before heading into the last 10 days.

He said: “A lot of our final set of fixtures are against teams in the bottom half, but those can be the hardest matches.

“We’ve been in that position ourselves and we’ve done it to other teams when we’re scrapping for our lives and they are safe and they have less to play for.

“We need to go into those games fully equipped to have a battle or else we’ll get turned over, so I’m sure we’ll be ready for them.”
