Noble refuses to blame fan who ran on the pitch

|
Mark Noble refuses to blame the supporter who ran on the pitch who later tackled saying his emotions were high like mine.“It is hard for me personally because I am a West Ham fan myself and the results affect me more than anyone else, but in this league for the past two seasons really it has sort of been bubbling over with the fans not being happy and today was boiling point and it just exploded.

The only way that it has ever really gone quiet is if we won games. And West Ham is a side that is not going to win every game. I can tell you that. We are going to lose games. But when we lose games it is pretty much the end of the world.

“If anything I am not really angry, I am just a little bit upset that this sort of club is in the way that it is.

“It is the case that results at West Ham affect my everyday life massively. I have said this before. If we win you don’t mind going out to a restaurant with the wife and having a glass of wine. But when you lose you don’t want to talk to anyone. These last couple of seasons it has been a lot tougher.”

“I don’t know what will happen at the next home game. That is being brutally honest. If we will go 1-0 down at home again, what will happen? I can’t imagine. If fans come on the pitch, do you know what, I am not going to even blame the feller. His emotions were high same as mine on the pitch. He ran on the pitch and I wouldn’t say I felt threatened but if someone approaches me I am going to look after myself. With the way that happened it really affected the rest of the game.”

This is all so sad. I am a lifelong Hammer who saw Moore and the other legends play at Upton park.

They must be spinning in their graves at what the club has come to.

I can see this from both sides.

The owners should step back and run the business but stop tinkering in the football side of the club. I don’t hear so much about the owners of Stoke, Southampton and the like constantly in the headlines despite them facing similar issues.

The fans have a say about the club in the right forums but the bully boys and hotheads who create trouble are not the fans I have seen over the years supporting the Irons through some dire times and some good ones. They should pack up and go. I don’t want them representing my views and support.

I suspect thousands of others think like me rather than the minority who follow them. Perhaps they should put their feelings of injustice in perspective by looking at the far worse situations people face every day in other countries.

Shame on them and they bring shame to the club and everyone connected with a great name COYI
