Noble to go under the knife

|

Mark-Noble-640914Captain Mark Noble is the latest Hammer to undergo an operation this week after playing on with an injury for several months.  Michail Antonio and Cheik Kouyate had operations earlier this week and now it is Noble’s turn.

Mark Noble will have an operation to rectify a long-standing double hernia injury on Saturday and will, therefore, miss the remainder of the season.

Head of Medical and Sports Science Stijn Vandenbroucke confirmed on WHUFC.com that Noble has been playing with the painful condition for many weeks, but the skipper requested to delay the operation as long as possible.

Mark has been playing in pain, but he is the captain and he wanted to do everything he could to ensure the Club retained its Premier League status,” Vandenbroucke confirmed.

“Mark is as brave as they come and he ignored the pain as best he could, but the Premier League takes it toll.

“We attended an appointment with the specialist on the evening before the Tottenham game and it was deemed that the surgery was now urgent, he played in the game and played a big part in our victory that ensured the Club’s safety.”

In March clarified the captain his absence from the first team by admitting he had been playing with an injury in recent games without fully telling the club the full extent of his problem.

What a ****** so its ok for captain fantastic to not tell the medical staff or management when he is injured now is it.He will of course be absolved of blame by the deluded fans who think he walks on water.

Nord is more than capable in his real position as a holding mid.I know he played right back in Germany when called upon but we certainly havnt seen the best of him.Which is a shame because he has been dismissed as average by some fans based on his appearances in what is not his true position.
I have to say that Noble was out or order not telling the club the full SP about his injury.Stupid at best!

Can’t we blood a couple of the youngsters for the game? Everybody would be happy with a point so why not keep as many of the team playing in their best positions.

Hopefully we will see Nordveit in his position on Sunday, despite not being his biggest admirer hope the surgery goes well and he makes a good recovery COYI !!!

He has been awful all season and now says he has needed an operation . Why the hell did he not have it and if it was required surely the medical staff should have spotted it ?? He has cost the team countless points and has caused disruption with other players who have played out of position as a result . He has been totally irresponsible . Don’t come back at me saying “loyal and did for the team ” because that is complete rubbish . If he was a great player perhaps it would be true but he is average at best and keeping better players out of the team .

Another one down. Unbelievable!! Think I will have to revise my optimistic view of the Liverpool game. I am not sure we have got 11 left to play. Presumably out are the normal suspects plus Kouyate Antonio Noble-oh yes and Dicks!
