Mark Noble has run out a massive winner in a poll asking if West Ham need a new captain for the 2014-15 season.
Kevin Nolan has admitted himself that with a couple of sendings off the 2013-14 campaign was not the best of his career.
And in a poll conducted by ClaretandHugh the fans agreed and clearly want local lad Noble wearing the the armband!
Over 1200 votes were cast – which sees the poll recognised as official b ythe Mori organisation.
Noble was way out in front with 946 votes or 78.77 of the vote with Nolan a poor second with 98 votes (8.16 per cent).
Goalkeeper Adrian picked up 18 votes (1.5 per cent) and Andy Carroll 7 (0.58).
A total of 132 voted that none of the candidates named would be their choice.
We’ll done Mark.
Hope the club listen to the resounding vote of confidence in your favour, and carry us to a top eight finish next season.
Thanks Kev for the work done, but time to hand over the arm band.
