Noble’s best ever season!

|

marknoble_726Mark Noble has declared that the arrival of Slaven Bilic coincided with the greatest year of his own career .

The captain was in fabulous form last term and was most peope’s pick for an England midfied slot.

That wasn’t to be but it seems nothing can take the gloss offa campaign which wil live long in the memories of us all.

The 29 year old skipper said: “We have got a lot of belief at the club at the minute. Everybody is excited.

“We are moving into a new training ground. We have made three very good, astute signings – Gokhan Tore and the other two lads, Havard Nordtveit and Sofiane Feghouli, on frees.

“It’s been a slow, steady rise for the club and a positive one. We had the disappointment of relegation and then Sam Allardyce came in and changed things around and got it to a firm Premier League position, midtable every year.

“Then Slaven Bilic arrived, as well as new staff and a lot of new players, last season and we had the best year of my career, personally and collectively as a squad.

“It was a bit special because it was the last year in the Boleyn and we lost there just three times in the whole year, so we gave it a good send-off. Now we have to try to create some new history at the new stadium.

“It is going to be a fantastic place and now the club is being run properly we are moving in the right direction.”

Mark was superb last season, lets hope he can replicate that this year.Im not sure his words will sit too well with some of our fans though. He speaks far too positively lol

Definitely the best we could have hoped for but he is limited in most areas and is nowhere near the quality required at international level . He has been rewarded for 100% effort and loyalty by a ridiculous contract and could well find himself keeping the bench warm this Winter.

Won’t happen, he is the club captain and, as such, is the first on the team sheet if fit.
