Numerous reports suggest Liverpool are ready to test West Ham’s resolve to keep hold of winger Mohammed Kudus.
The Ghanaian is currently serving a ban for violent conduct but has remained in the headlines of the West Ham news, with Arsenal reportedly preparing a transfer bid.
Unsubstantiated third-party quotes suggest the Hammers winger would like a move to North London to play European football, which he cited as his main reason for joining West Ham from Ajax. Now, however, it seems the Gunners could face competition from Liverpool, who are thriving under former Hammers managerial target Arne Slot.
Adding a twist, the Mail Online reported: “West Ham are expected to stand firm on Mohammed Kudus’ £85 million release clause as they brace for offers for their star forward next summer.”
Without a significant improvement in form, West Ham may struggle to keep Kudus, given the calibre of clubs chasing him and the release clause.
A top Hammers insider revealed to Claret & Hugh that including a release clause was crucial in convincing Kudus to sign from Ajax. However, with Jarrod Bowen seemingly committed to staying in East London, the club has some cover should Liverpool decide to spend £85 million to replace Mo Sala
If Declan Rice was 105 million then Kudus should be at least that much.
As a hammer 🛠 we have no time to play ” let’s give him time” the authorities will need to act now before they spend huge money to come from relegation…. A good manager gives you instant results like how Man U has jumped from 13th to 4th on table…. Act now authorities
85 million more like a 185 million should be asked for a Player like Kudus. Further, why sell him to a rival, sell him in Europe.
Again doom.and gloom…lovely
get a lollipiop
It was always on the cards that top clubs would come looking to get kudus to join them he is a top top footballer it will be a sad day should he leave but with things as they are you can’t blame him we have a manager that has no idea what he is doing make good players looking like muppets the only hope we have of keeping kudus is if JL is sacked and a decent manager is brought in then he may stay to join the plan of getting back into Europe if that was to happen his value would rocket but should the owners decide to keep JL any longer then it’s going to be a relegation battle for the rest of the season which will be JL fault and all so the members of the owners for not taking action when it was necessary instead of sitting on the fence
Phew! Don’t forget to breathe Bennyboy. 😤
