Not one but TWO !

Not one but TWO !

Much like London buses, you miss one and then two come along.

In this case our activity in the transfer window.

According to Sky , we are now in talks with Manchester United about not one but TWO players.

Go on , have a guess !

Yes, you are correct. It is Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay again.

CandH and other media outlets have written about the duo and commented about them seemingly every day for the last few weeks.

To be charitable, is Maguire the right player at the wrong club? Erik ten Hag wants him to play as a conduit to start attacks, it is pretty obvious that it is not one of his strengths.

I suppose one thing would be certain that our Supremo would just want him to be an old fashioned defender – none of that fancy stuff in the London Stadium thank you.

McTominay, does have more mobility than the Maguire and he is a solid midfielder with some proven qualities

I know that it is vital we add to our squad depth but we are looking at big money for the both of them, and it remains to be seen if they would be an instant fit.

I hope they have thought this through, as it could prove to be a costly mistake

According to reports Moyes sees Mctomm as a DM. He has never played that position for united, here we go again It is simply shocking what is going on and the amount of time being actually wasted but I really hope the owners back DOF and not this clueless individual. Does he not remember our best signings last season were Aguerd and Paqueta and not Downes and Ings. He is utterly clueless. He is blaming the signings for our poor season when in fact it was his approach that was the problem, he was the blame.. And the owners seem to agree, its utter nonsense.

I see chelsea have offered us Hudson-odoi, another reject. The report said it was a surprise to west game, a surprise really !!!! I dont know this but it would not surprise me that Moyes is holding up the borge deal to sign someone like odoi. Get this clueless person off transfers. Let the DOF do the job he us being paid to do and buy the players and if Moyes does not manage them properly just sack him.

Oh no not Maguire please? Old, slow, a stopper imo not as good as Daws, massive fee and wages, no sale on value. Chucking away the Dec Dosh. For me, W-P is the same CM in that he is older and expensive. I fear Moyes will be all over these two – I bet we won’t get McTom though he is the better option at 26. We are not in safe hands – a dinosaur signing ageing old fashioned players.

This is not West Ham, this is not ambition. We are going nowhere with signings like this. The board has the power to stop Moyes on the road to self and club destruction. We have a new DOF back him, not Moyes.

Moyes continues his dithering ways, trying to buy these two rejects!

Why can’t we get the alvarez deal done. 35 million is a bargain. Trying to sign worse players for more money. Its crazy

Let’s just say we could do better!

How depressing…the idea that the outcome of losing a world class player like Rice is two Man Utd cast offs with limited resale value.

It’s like selling Rio all over again. Show some ambition West Ham!

Oh no! I guarantee Manchester United are laughing all the way to the bank because we are looking to pay top dollar for two of their ageing rejects. I don’t need to speculate what Tom Steidten thinks of this. Why, oh why, didn’t we sack Dinosaur Dithering Dave at the end of last season as it seems he will squander the Rice windfall?

  • Buster says:

Not now……not ever. I don’t want Man United cast-offs anywhere near our team (Unless it’s Wan-Bissaka!)
