Football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has stated on his Twitter (X) account that West Ham midfielder Edson Álvarez is expected to return to action sooner than anticipated.
The Italian journalist specified that the Hammers’ Mexican midfielder could be back for this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace, a surprising update that contradicts information given to C&H when we were informed he was still some way from fitness by a top club source.
Romano also suggested that several clubs might be preparing bids for Álvarez as the transfer window closes.
However, Claret & Hugh reported last week that a top club source indicated Álvarez would not return until after the September international break, with his next expected game against Fulham on September 14th rather than Palace on Saturday.
It has also been reported to C&H that Álvarez has not been training with the first team as he continues his rehabilitation. A Hammers insider informed us on Friday, “the tear is worse than we thought.”
No need to worry then, as your source confirms that Alvarez will be out for some time yet, therefore no transfer. Excellent
If Alvarez has not yet returned to training, he will not be available until well after the International break. Romano speaks with forked tongue.
100%, John. Seen the tweets 😉 Not before the end of the break.
Whatever the truth is, ANY player who doesn’t want to play for us and thinks they can go somewhere better, then off they should go.
I don’t want any player at our club who doesn’t think it’s not good enough for them. Sometimes you can’t blame them the way our club has been run, but this is hopefully a new beginning. Let’s see and let’s hope players are happy to be part of it for professional pride if nothing else.
Non-story……..AGAIN.
He may be available sooner than anticipated, great.
We don’t need to, nor won’t sell.
End of.
Promoting a negative spin on a possible positive, well done.
Can this site PLEASE start only posting NEWS?
Not for sale , thank you
just maybe Gonzo, maybe, not real info is given to you full stop instead of you just going through other sites like we all can do!
You are wrong on so many occasions, slagging off transfers dealings, then proven wrong, writing off players then proven wrong, its all a bit of a joke.
So IF he’s not back until after the international break, then in a way it IS what we want to hear, as he won’t be sold
Smells like Alvarez agent has been on the phone to Romano.
