Some of West Ham’s international contingent met up with the first team on their preseason trip to Florida but were welcomed back with an unexpected initiation ceremony.
Michail Antonio, Tomas Soucek, and Vladimir Coufal rejoined their teammates and had to run the gauntlet of terror as they returned to training action.
Spirits were high in what appears to be a very jovial and fun training camp, and the Hammers’ senior players were forced to run through a guard of honour which seemed to involve a fair number of slaps and a few crafty shoves for good measure.
It’s a testament to the jovial working environment that is being created by the new Hammers head coach, Julen Lopetegui, and his coaching team.
In recent days, Mohammed Kudus, Kurt Zouma and Lewis Orford have both praised the ‘feel-good’ nature of training and the team spirit that is being created at West Ham.
Why won’t westham pay the money for the players he wants they did the same to the last manger and lost good players to other clubs I can see them going down
… or it could just be that the players didn’t want to play for West Ham?
It is frustrating being a fan though.

Not a proper game played yet and you see us going down! Why not be positive- yes sometimes hard when your a Hammers Fan, but surely we have to see what happens when we actually start the season. So many people/pundits are dieing for us to fail with our new manager. Just listen to the bias commentary when we play! Im excited for this season COYI
