Obiang agent updates midifielder’s position

ObiangPedro Obiang’s agent  admits no firm offers has been made to be made to West Ham this summer for the midfielder.

Pedro has been linked with Roma and AC Milan in recent days ahead of the transfer deadline on Wednesday.

However, Jose Maria Gonzalez told laroma24.it: “At the moment there is nothing with Roma and I have not had contact with the Giallorossi executives.

“Obviously in football things can change in a minute, but I repeat that I know nothing about these market rumors in the Italian press concerning Obiang.”

Italian press also claim AC Milan are also considering Obiang but say first they have to sell the 20-year-old Jose Mauri. In his post-match press conference at the weekend, Milan coach Vincenzo Montella made comments on the possibility of adding one between Rincon, Obiang and Baselli to his squad before the transfer window deadline.

West Ham are seeking £5 million for the midfielder. It is claimed he was previously offered to Fiorentina and Napoli.

  1. It’s a shame because he has a lot of potential but he is wasting his career at our club, we could try and loan him out to another PL team for a decent fee, then perhaps he can prove himself and come back.

  2. Strange goings on if you ask me !
If there’s one area where we are short its D/M/F !
And BIGGINS gets to stay ! Fukin nuts ?. 48hrs to sort it !! . 🙁

  3. I see him as a fairly decent player; nothing special.
If he stays with us, it will only be until next season when Josh Cullen is ready.
