October return date for Carroll

|

CarrollhairflyingAn Andy Carroll return to action prediction is giving October 25th as his personal D-Day.

Most reports are claiming that the striker won’t be back  until November but the usually highly  reliable  reckons he’ll be back in time for the home clash with his former club Newcastle!

It’s a huge boost for the player who ClaretandHugh has been told is working hard to make the projected date.

Co-chairman David Gold told us exclusively: “He’s out of the surgical boot which is always a big psychological barrier to players.

“He has had major surgery carried out on the ankle which has troubled him for several years and when he returns we will have a player free of all injury worries.

“He’s been desperately unlucky with injuries but the news is all good  and we are all looking forward to his return.”

Whilst it’s great to hear that he may be back earlier than expected, If the ankle has been troubling him for several years, that means it’s another injury that was either not picked up or ignored when we signed him. Madness!

He always looks like something is just about to go twang – another disaster is just around the corner!

I do love Andy Carroll, and i hope this will be the end of his injury woes, because he does make a huge difference to the team as a whole.I see a lot of similarities between him and Dean Ashton, the size, style of play, etc.But the one big similarity is the little ankles for big fellas who jump a lot and,the awkward landings.Deano had a few niggling injuries before calling it time,i just hope the same doesnt happen to Andy.
