OFFICIAL: Allardyce stays

Sam Allardyce will keep his job at West Ham!

The club will release an official statement later today confirming the decision.

ClaretandHugh has learned the decision has now been made and that a statement will be on the the club website very soon

We have also learned that the Hammers co chairman David Sullivan had “two irons in the fire ” as far as possible managerial replacements were concerned.

And it was only after we were turned down by both that the club decided to make the “keep Allardyce” decision.

  1. gooooood, at least BFS will keep us in the premier league!!! Being realistic on another manager though, is it best to keep stable and solid or do you go for luck and hope a new manager turns out to be a superman!!! Who from the premier league would manage WHU, not the already successful I’ll bet. So that leaves untried but maybe good…..and of course failure could mean relegation. Do you want or want to risk relegation? Me, no I would rather have Sam. Remember some players he has managed….campo, anelka, djorkaeff. speed, etc
