Ogbonna awaits a call from Italy

OgbonnaAngelo Ogbonna posted a cheeky message with a photo on twitter last night standing next to a red London phone box questioning why he hadn’t received a call from Italian national coach  Antonio Conte for selection in the Italian national team.

The message from Ogbonna read: Who knows if Mr. Conte has my English number??!!  “

Ogbonna has already  been capped ten times for the Italian national team, after making his debut in 2011. However he last played for Italy back in October 2014 as a late substitute against Malta and has not been selected  for some time.

Ogbonna signed for the Hammers from UEFA Champions League runners-up Juventus last summer 2015 for a reported £8.25m transfer fee. He has made 16 Premier League appearances this season cementing his place as a first choice centre back in the team. He has made over 100 clearances, 470 passes, made 21 tackles and 26 inceptions so far this term.

  1. And 1 most important goal,
He has played well but not possible international Class,
At the moment a great club player and has not had the same partner for most of the season,
If he wants international football I hope he gets it before the Euro,s

  2. The Wolves match has always stuck out in my mind, that Saturday me being a bus driver i went back and forth along Green Street and watched the tributes grow even before the match i was in tears and found it very difficult to do my job. I was fortunate enough to finish in time before the kick off. Inside the ground i saw grown men cry as the tributes and wreathes were laid in the centre circle. The wolves fans carried their wreath to the centre circle and were applauded with every step they took what a wonderful gesture to those fans. The 2-0 result did not matter it was all about our Bobby Moore who was cruelly taken from us,. To this day there will always be a place in my heart for the great man, god bless you Bobby forever rest in Peace………………………..Ritchie F
