Oggy injury update

|

Angelo Ogbonna will be having a scan on his knee later today.

The big defender was subbed in the first half against Liverpool yesterday with what appeared to be a twisted knee.

He had played an important part in the victory until being taken off and replaced by Craig Dawson who had a fine game.

Thankfully, the 33 year old Italian has two weeks to recover ahead of the game against Wolves following the international break but at this point nobody is passing any comment on his likely return or otherwise.

Elsewhere, the squad was in good shape after the game with only a few knocks and bumps affecting the squad.

Mikey Antonio looked totally fit and free of hamstring worries although he didn’t enjoy the best first half of his life.

We will wait for news of Oggy of course but things continue to go well on injuries as we head into big games against Wolves. Rapid Vienna, Manchester City and Chelsea.
