Baroness Brady of Knightsbridge has been visiting the new West Ham club shop in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this morning but took time to answer questions on social media about the former Olympic Stadium.
Posting an image of the new Desso grassmaster pitch, the Vice Chairman said: “Pitch is coming along beautifully”
Brady also revealed that the long awaited alternative wrap around the London Stadium is being installed now. He added that the wrap is “happening now, steel support works going in and then the wrap will be installed & then Europe’s largest digital wall”
She also confirmed season ticket holders will receive their new access cards soon by saying “In a couple of weeks you will get your access card as turnstiles are electronically activated with your welcome pack”
However she did reveal a four week delay to the new Champions Stones being installed in Champions Place. When asked by one supporter “When will we be able to go and see our champions place stones ?” she replied “Being laid at the moment was delayed 4 weeks due to the rain! Should all be installed before the end of the month.”
Should point out that the car park is not exclusively for the shop, but shared with users of the community track. Also it will not be available on match days.
