IF THE Portugese press are to be believed, West Ham are welcoming the New Year and the opening of the 2026 winter transfer window with the possibility of a signing within days.
Indeed, even according to exWHU employee, a medical has been booked for striker Pablo Felipe and he is apparently traveling to London today.
Nuno’s super agent Jorge Mendes will no doubt have been working behind the scenes as his company has Felipe as a client. No mention of any transfer fee or personal terms has yet become public but it is an interesting development in West Ham’s striker search.
From West Ham’s criteria, it is unlikely that Felipe will be the sole signing. With no top tier experience and just 21 years old, it is a stretch to consider Felipe ready to come in and hit the ground running and lead the Hammers attack amidst a relegation struggle.
So it raises the intriguing question: Is there another frontman joining in addition to Felipe in the coming weeks?
Stunned – WHU getting things done early on. Well done.
Looks like a another mobile, ranging forward who is good at link up play playing along the ground, like Rafiu Durosinmi, etc… only Traore stands out as a different type of player. They all seem more mobile than Chris Wood or say Andy Caroll was, going back a bit. Very encouraging because think that fits in with technical players like Bowen and Fernandes, … & can’t expect a PL ready striker coming to struggling WHU. Have to trust their judgement that they are skillful, technical, athletic and quick enough to adjust to PL.
Re. relegation, never over till the fat lady sings.

Will be happy if we sign him immediately and El Karanoui, hope we don’t sign Traore but probably will and if we do, hope he proves me wrong.
Well, if you don’t know then who does? Maybe ask Gonzo! As for Pablo Felipe, I like his name. The last Pablo we had in the team turned out very well, him of the Fornals variety.
