On the old QT

Mladen Petric is a disconsolate figure around the training ground after having been given no chance at all to impress.

And a training ground source made it clear that sadly the striker has shown nothing which allows the manager to offer him an opportunity of first team action.

He said:  “Sadly, there’s been little sparkle. Mladen just hasn’t caught the eye at all.”

We’re told that the FFP Regulations within which the co-chairmen are apparently trying to work have been eased by some cash from new revenue streams.

Excuse our cynicism but that seems very convenient so close to the January transfer window!

A source – having revealed that Carlton Cole and Modibo Maiga’s removal from the wage bill would ease things – said: “Oh and we’ve had come cash in from elsewhere which helps things. ”
