Eight years ago to the day, West Ham thumped Manchester United in the snow!
The Hammers and United met in a League Cup quarter-final, with Sir Alex Ferguson still in charge of the Red Devils.
He did not pick his strongest team, but the likes of Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher and, ironically, Javier Hernandez all featured.
And they were no match for an inspired Irons side, led by former United defender Jonathan Spector.
He scored a header in the first-half and followed it up with a simple close-range finish.
Carlton Cole netted a header of his own at the start of the second-half, and, with the snow pouring down, he then turned away from Jonny Evans to hit the bottom corner.
The Hammers earned their first League Cup semi-final in almost 20 years as a result of the performance, where they lost 4-3 on aggregate to eventual winners Birmingham City.
Still, reflect on a glorious day, achieved with something of a patchwork team!
The Hammers side that day: Green, Faubert, Tomkins, Upson, Ben Haim, Barrera, Kovac, Spector, Boa Morte, Cole, Obinna.
