There’s now not a minute to lose!
With David Moyes back at Rush Green after his technical consultancy role at the Euros only one thing matters – getting players in .

For as Hammers News points out in a recent article there is only a month left of this window so urgency hardly describes where we are right now.
The Euros has taken most minds off the window given England’s fine performance but now push has come to more than shove as we seek to fill some key positions.
CandH revealed ahead of the rest that Moyes wants a striker, central defender and Lingard. We can only hope that he has given his list of candidates for those positions to the board and that deals are being discussed right now.
Time really in on the short side now and it’s well known the manager can be more than cautious when the time comes to make moves.
Most of the really important deals are done in the last week of the windows with agents holding out for the biggest terms they can get.
But time is short – things really need to start happening!
What is this a call to arms for the moaners? Not that they need any more winding up than usual. Plenty of time left in the window. We all know that players and agents leave it as late as possible in the window so that demand increases, the more offers they get. They want to create is a bidding war so their client can cherry pick which team they sign for. I don’t expect most teams to do their business until the last week or two if the window.
Oh dear. Needs a Corporal Jones response. A month is a long time in football … and, as the article points out, most deals are done in the week before a deadline. Pointless, space filling post, IMHO
