Look, we are not going to dress this up!
David Sullivan has offered us FIVE more signed copies of his movie Rise of the Krays to give you a last chance of winning one.
And we are quite happy to launch it here because it’s a good watch and we are quite happy to give it an unashamed plug.
We know it’s hardly likely to win an Oscar but this is a genuine gritty film which supports the British independent film industry.
David Sullivan did the right thing for the club and us fans by investing an estimated £37m net of funds in the Summer Transfer transfer window.
And I think that entitles him to a few shameless plugs on various West Ham media channels including this one and the official site.
We make no excuses for doing so, whatever some might say. After such a great transfer window we believe we owe him!
We’ve heard all the criticism about his own paper – the Daily Sport – calling it the ‘the best gangster movie ever made’ whilst some have accused him of getting friends and family to write glowing reviews on ITunes and movie database IMDb.
So what? Who cares? If I invested £3m in a film I would probably do the same and much more.
Quite apart from all that it’s a good movie and as the old expression goes: “Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!!!”
Being the international break is upon us, David has given us the five signed copies in this Exclusive Claret and Hugh competition. You enter this new competition by clicking HERE
