Optimism at the London Stadium

What with the signing of our new boy, Mohammed Kudus, there is now an air of optimism around the club and a good feeling about the future.

Also a bright start to the new campaign and our recent summer recruits means that we are in a good place at the moment.

Our new lad, young Kudus has been quoted as saying

“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” said Kudus, as West Ham officially confirmed his Premier League arrival. “I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going. I can’t wait to get started.”

“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about,”

Well said Mohammed !There’s that magic word again “Entertain”

For many years the Irons was always everybody’s second favourite team and yes, of course we want to win things but surely we want to play entertaining football as well?

If everything continues to gel, we have the makings of a very good side. This could be a very good season for us, bearing in mind only a month ago we were fretting about the lack of new players and the void that was left by the departing Rice.

I get the sense of a new feeling of confidence about the club and if we can replicate that on the pitch, surely we should be looking at cementing ourselves as a top-6 side.

I also think our newly fresh faced Supremo should give himself a pat on the back for giving Tim Steidten the leeway in getting these deals across the line.

It’s a great feeling again to feel positive and see the fruits of a structured recruitment plan with Tim leading the charge on this. Well done to the ppl behind the scenes 👏
