West Ham’s new home will have super fast wifi system and a dedicated stadium app which will allow supporters to order food and drink in advance from their seat.
The days of having problems getting a mobile data connection before, during and after West Ham games should be a thing of the past when French stadium operator London Stadium 185 launch free WiFi throughout the former Olympic stadium from October provided by Indian company Tech Mahindra.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park already enjoys free WiFi provided by specialist WiFi company WiFiSpark and we understand WiFiSpark will provide wifi to West Ham dedicated areas including the offices.
An insider told Claret and Hugh “The vision is to have good solid roaming WiFi throughout the Park/Stadium”
The new smart app due to be launched is currently called ‘The London Stadium app’ It will allow supporters pre-order food and drink from American company Delaware North who have won the catering rights for the converted stadium. West Ham get a 30% share of catering profits after the first £500,000.

I hope it’s true, he may be good but we shouldn’t let players take the **** like ha has.
Free WiFi, another atmosphere killer, I can see it now, tens of thousands of people huddled silently over their phones tweeting and playing candy crush while somewhere in the far distance two teams play a football match for a global TV audience.
