OS seat colour to be revealed soon

Work has commenced to rebuild the lower tier of the Olympic Stadium following the completion of the new translucent roof with new look floodlights in recent days.

The buried running track has recently been uncovered and the focus is now rebuilding the lower stands in time for the first test event on Sunday 19th July.

Seats will soon be installed very soon and OS watchers will be keen to see whether the original Black and White seats will be re-installed or whether new Claret and Blue seats will be introduced.  Close attention will be paid to any pattern created with the seats such as crossed hammers.

All construction works will be suspended between 19 July and 7 November.
