Other transfers on hold until duo fate is decided

|

French paper L’Equipe claims Maxime Gonalons will be heading towards England where he is ‘in contact’ with West Ham.

Spanish media outlet AS say that West Ham are the favourites to sign Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals.

Meanwhile, French website Le 10Sport say West Ham remain keen to seal a deal for Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson.

Another report by the Daily Express claims West Ham have joined in the race to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié.
While some of these names might be a long list somewhere on Pellegrini’s transfer targets none of them is understood to be priorities at this time.
West Ham is trying to negotiate a double deal with Celata Vigo for  Maxi Gomez and Stanislav Lobotka for a combined transfer fee between £50m and £60m and at the moment.
While negotiations with the Spanish club continue the chance of signing any other player with any significant transfer fee is doubtful.
