“Our start is no fluke”

O'BrienFit-again Joey O’Brien has made it clear the Irons massive start to the new season is no fluke.

The defender featured in a practice match earlier in the week against Fulham and is desperate to get back into the first team along with Andy Carroll, Ricaro Vaz Te and Kevin Nolan, who also featured.

He told www.whufc.com: “The international break is one of those things we just need to deal with.

“Being fourth is no fluke as we’re eleven games into the season. We’ve had a few international breaks already this year and they don’t seem to have affected us, hopefully this one won’t either.”

  1. Hopefully it will affect Everton,it wouldn’t be a bad thing if Baines misses this game,he always plays outstanding against us.Apart from that and Barry’s injury a plus, and i can see us doing o.k. for once at Goodison,if we turn out our best. C.O.Y.I.
