Ox Tale Seems a Bit Far Fetched

West Ham United‘s reported interest in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks rather risky and just an outright bad idea. The former Liverpool midfielder’s talent seems a distant memory and his injury history is nothing short of abysmal. However that has not stopped the Hammers being linked with the player as an emergency recruit.

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s struggles with injuries have limited his playing time in recent seasons. However, his performances for Besiktas have seen some suggest that he still has the ability to contribute at a high level.

West Ham’s midfield is surely not so desperate that we need to sign a player like Oxlade-Chamberlain. The club are well stocked in the midfield area and appear to be awaiting exits before completing the transfer for Carlos Soler.

It appears that Besiktas are in some financial distress, and Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly open to making a Premier League return. This appears to be the primary reason why the club are being linked with the player.

No thanks.

Please just stop. Soler would make sense if JWP leaves as long as we can balance the home grown requirement, but the Ox is the answer to the wrong question.

Sorry, but this story makes no sense, supply info on the obvious outs we should be working on, because without moving em on, there is no more in’s, plus this player you mention, I can’t even type his name, you are so far away from reality

This is a lot of cobblers
Approximately 150 players linked to whu during this transfer season.
Not once has Chamberlain been mentioned now 4 days left and his name comes to the forefront.
If it’s true, struggling to raise funds for Soler and Abraham so why would an extra body be brought into the equation.
    Media speculation.
