Oxford and Byram updates

Hammers Sam Byram and Reece Oxford are unlikely  to leave West Ham before the transfer window shuts at 5 pm.

Both players were put up for sale as they don’t feature in Manuel Pellegrini’s future plans but as of yet no permanent offers have been received for either player.

West Ham will remain very hopeful of a late last minute bid but in reality time is running out to get a permanent deal over the line and a medical completed before 5 pm for either player.

Both players are likely to loaned out however Championship, League one and two clubs can still loan players up to 31st August so Sam Byram could still join Nottingham Forest on loan before then.

The Italian transfer window doesn’t close until 17th August with the German, French and Spanish windows not closing until the last day of August so there are still plenty of options for Reece Oxford to get his move.
