Sky Sports claims Reece Oxford has been offered a £20,000-a-week contract by Bundesliga club Red Bull Leipzig. They claim the newly-promoted German side are the latest club to attempt to lure the highly-rated 17-year-old away from the Hammers.

Leipzig are preparing for their first season in the top flight of German football after finishing second in Bundesliga 2 last season.

Conveniently they report they understand Oxford wishes to stay in England.

Oxford is thought to be on £7,000 per week with West Ham in a two year deal he signed last December on his 17th birthday. He cannot sign a deal longer than two years until his 18th birthday this December.

Oxford has also been linked with a season-long loan to Newcastle United which seems more likely.
