Pablo Fornals insists that the club are desperate to make West Ham’s supporters proud ahead of the start of the Europa League group stages.
The Irons take on Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia later this week.
They will also take on both Rapid Wien and Genk in the group stages, with the club set to begin their European adventure under David Moyes.
Fornals has been in excellent form at the start of the season, scoring twice and laying on an assist in four games in the Premier League.
He has never played in either the Champions League or the Europa League but is excited to get started this week as the Irons look to reap the rewards of their sixth-placed finish last season.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Fornals said: “Yeah, we’re going to travel and start this new experience for every one of us and I hope we are going to make all the West Ham supporters proud of these Hammers.”
The Spain international has enjoyed an excellent few weeks and recently scored his first goal for La Roja, in the 2-0 win over Kosovo.
