Page suffers massive blow

|

PageIrons youngster Lewis Page has torn the ligaments in his ankle.

He limped off in the second half of the Europa Cup clash against FC Astra and scans have now shown the extent of the damage.

It seems that the highly promising player will be out for several months and is a major blow after he had aimed to put Aaron Creswell under pressure for the left back spot.

BT pundits Glenn Hoddle and David James both spoke in glowing terms of the youngster after the game on Thursday night.

Hope the young lad has a full and speedy recovery and is pushing for the first team relatively soon

Don’t think he is going to cut it at right back in the premier Stingray but could be wrong,
Anyway Jenks may be fit all year,

Shame another youngster that has been given a chance has done well but he will comeback and push for a place in the first team,
This is what I mention about not having cover for Jenkinson,
