Crystal Palace’s preparations for the clash against the Irons were further dusrupted today with news that their director of football Iain Moody is understood to be resigning from his position at the club.
Moody has allegedly been caught up in a racist, sexist and homophobic scandal with Malky Mackay, who looked set to become the club’s new manager on Wednesday.
Moody moved into his position last November to assist in transfer dealings after being sacked by Cardiff City the previous month.
The pair have known each other for man years and are described as”best friends”.
After looking as if there was likely to be a reunion at Selhurst Park, the club has been plunged into a big problem ahead of the game with us and caretaker boss Keith Millen and first team coach Ben Garner will take charge at the weekend.
