Paqueta/Antonio hopes

West Ham are hoping that Lucas Paqueta and Mikey Antonio will be ready to help them to a third win over Arsenal at the weekend but it’s no more than a hope!

The other big question David Moyes has to answer is whether he can afford to play an out of form,. and seemingly barely match fit Kalvin Phillips, in a match where we will hope to end the winless results over the last seven games.

The club are not keen to give updates but it’s claimed by sources close to Paqueta that he could be out for another three or four weeks although admit Antonio may be close to a return,

Paqueta’s absence is missed big time and it’s probably true to say that neither Mo Kudus or Jarrod Bowen is not as effective when he is not in the team.

The creative star of the team has injured a calf whilst the No 9 damaged his knee playing for Jamaica during the international break and has it taken much longer took longer to recover than the club anticipated.

Phillips – in his present form – would look to be a real risk against the Gooners but it could be that the vastly improved performances in that area by Ben Johnson will give him his chance.

We reckon the line0up will probably look like this: Areola; Coufal, Aguerd, Zouma,. Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek, Johnson, Ward-Prowse, Kudus,. Bowen.
