Paqueta timetable problem

Lucas Paqueta is set to be on the West Ham side lines for another four weeks!

Sources close to the player have revealed exclusively to Claret and Hugh the Brazilian is some way from making a return from the injury to his calf which saw him collapse in the game against Bristol City on January 7 writes Hughie Southon.

Paqueta timetable problem

It’s more miserable news for manager David Moyes who has been unable to put a time table on his return but C and H was told there is little chance of him returning to action within a month although fingers are of course crossed.

As a result the manager may have to change his formation and hopefully return Jarrod Bowen to the right side where he is at hi most effective whilst giving Danny Ings a chance to the sort of fortm he showed before being dropped after the Bournemouth game.

Paqueta’s absence has become a massive problem with neither Bowen or Kudus showing anything like the same form with him missing.

He has the same effect on the team as Dimi Payet did under Slaven Bilic and it was after his departure for personal reasons that the problems piled up for the former Hammers player turned boss.
