West Ham have been to told to ‘pay up or shut up’ in their pursuit of Mohammed Kudus.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ajax have rejected a new bid from The Hammers forĀ Kudus. The transfer fee offered by the club was reported to be worth ā¬42m. Ajax have no intention to sell Kudus, which is a deviation from their previous encouragement.
The player is believed to be keen to move to The London Stadium, and has started the season in scintillating form. Kudus has already notched a goal and an assist in his first two Eredivisie games. Last seasonĀ Kudus scored 18 goals and provided six assists for Ajax from a variety of positions.
West Ham now have a decision to make if they really want the 23-year-old Ghana international. Thereās no agreement between the two clubs, however the personal terms are believed to have been agreed by the player.
The versatile attacking midfielder can operate on either flank, up front or as a number 10.
Quite right too, they have stated their price and expect to get it or very close, just like we did with Declan. It’s the same old, if we identify him as essential then go all out and pay up!!
This guy is just class. Why oh why don’t we just pay the extra Ā£3M or so? I just know we are NOT going to get him and years latter when a Man City or Chelsea rock up and pay more than Ā£100M we will kick ourselves. Kudus on a permanent deal and Ekitike on a loan with an option to buy would be perfect. Job done. Why don’t they just do it?
Fair play, pay the money and get someone who will improve the team in.
Why do always muck about not paying what clubs want for their players? Kudus would be fantastic just bring him in or risk losing him to another club COYI
We need to get this bloke over the line š
What is wrong with them? Just get the deal over the line. This player is top class. Itās probably because they wanna get lingard for nothing thatās causing these issues.
Ward prowse Alvarez and Kudas would be a great window just get it done
I actually dont believe we need to sign a striker. How many more strikers do we need. We have Antonio, Ings, Mubama, Bowen who can all play there. We need two players to link up the play from midfield to our current strikers and thats why we have to pay the asking price etc for Kudas. He is the most important signing the club can make. A RW and a LB are alsi higher priority than a striker too. Stop spendibg crazy money on strikers when thats not solving the real problems.
