Dimitri Payet has previous form in trying to force a move in a January transfer window after doing the same thing happened when he tried to force a move from Saint-Etienne to PSG. He later said he had no regrets over trying to force a move to Paris-Saint Germain during the 2011 winter transfer window.
Payet independently travelled to Paris on deadline day without permission, but was eventually forced to remain at Saint-Etienne.
He told reporters afterwards “I’m doing very well. I’ve re-joined the squad normally, everything is going very well with my team-mates and for the time being, there are no problems, I don’t regret what happened. Afterwards, like I said, it’s in the past and if I’ve come here today to express myself, it’s to talk about the game against Lyon on Saturday and not to go back to the transfer window, which closed on January 31.”
I suppose that was the St.Etinne boards fault as well then.I mentioned before i was living in France at the time & he acted like a scabby dog.It wasnt until pre euros most French fans gave two flyings about the waste of space.

Think i told some of the lads on here she was French & a St-Etienne fan.When i told her he had gone into one i got a lecture on what a putain he is 😁😁
