Payet is short odds to leave West Ham

paytearsBookies Ladbrokes have reduced the odds for Dimitri Payet to leave West Ham by the end of the Summer transfer window to the short odds of 5/4
Chelsea lead the way as favourites at 7/2, with Antonio Conte keen to revamp his side who struggled last season. Last season’s Champions League finalists Real Madrid are (8/1) and Atletico Madrid are (12/1) while it’s (9/1) that Payet stays in France beyond the Euros, by moving to Ligue 1 giants PSG.

Manchester United are also dark horses in the race for the midfielder’s signature (12/1), with Arsenal rounding out the English interest at (16/1)

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Payet has been the star man at Euro 2016 so far and the big boys are lining up to take him from the Hammers. Don’t be surprised to see him swap the East End for West London this summer.”

Chelsea 7/2
Olympique de Marseille 33/1

  1. It is normal considering so far he is the player of the Euro’s, he is worth more to us than any of those teams can pay us so hopefully the Dave’s will be as good as their word and keep him. He has a very strong relationship with Bilic so that should also go in our favour for keeping him, without him we are a top ten team with him we are a European places team and a threat to everyone we play, he is irreplacable for a team like us.

  2. Like said earlier post lazy journo and once again all media his going nowhere very happy at west ham and has the best geezer and coach money can buy including pep or the special one.

  3. Bull****. He won’t be leaving

  4. So what are the odds on us keeping him then?!

  5. This Payet talk is tedious. The rest of the summer with this everyday. What a nightmare! Lol

  6. Many of us are sadly already resigned to the fact Payet will not be here come next season. Just please do not let him join Chelsea. Anyone but them, or ideally any other English team.

How sick a feeling will it be come first day of the season to see Payet stick in a wonderful free-kick for the winning goal in the 90th minute. BUT FOR CHELSEA.

  7. Shakespeare said: ‘Payet, or not Payet… that is the question’. Lol 😉

  8. Even if the Daves were considering it (which we know they aren’t), why in Heaven’s name would they think it a good idea to strengthen the team of a league rival!!??

  9. Also, these are just the odds on who they think he would join if he left. What are the odds on him ACTUALLY leaving, eh Ladbrokes?

  10. Even if he demanded to leave ( which I can’t see) the David’s would never sell to another premier league team, let alone Chelski.

  11. Bit of a nothing story this isn’t it, After the way he played last season and the way he’s playing at the euro’s he’s never going to be long odds to leave lets face it Ha Ha Ha.. In fact i’m surprised those prices aren’t even shorter than they are, better to wait for some real news i think….

  12. No reason to sell
How do you put a price on his sort of talent,
Ronaldo cost manure for how much and what has it cost since he left,
Bale what price now and would the Spuds won the league last year with him ?
Surez what cost to Liverpoor and what did they do with the money,
There are very few players that can change a game in world football 3 play for Barca,
    2. For Real, and probably another 6- 10 in the world one of which is Payet,
Yes in 2-3 years Lanzini will be another, but we need to keep all our treasure
No to pirates and Ritchie is no replacement for Payey maybe Valencia

    • Agree bubs, it is said that each player has his price, but a player like Payet is priceless… I think you understand 😉

  13. Mike Dillon is a scummy Manure supporter, wouldn’t trust Ladbrokes as far as I could through them

  14. I understand Matte half time in Spain 2-0 can’t take anymore noise in the bar ,
Nolito at £10 million what are we waiting for, at 28 just a youngster with more class like Payet dream signing as our class forward but price going up daily

  15. …and what are the odds on Payet staying? Payet leaving? It ain’t happening….Now let’s find something else to panic about!…(My motto by the way is “Why stay calm when you can PANIC?”…Works for me!)

  16. If he goes !!! God forbid, why would we sell him to a rival London club? We finished higher than Chelski last season, and we are a big club now. Bookies rarely get it wrong, but this speculation seems out of context to me. Remember up until we signed him no one had really heard of him in the UK. We have given him the stage to perform on, so I hope loyalty and respect work both ways and he stays and becomes a bigger legend than he is now.
