Dimi Payet has poured cold water over suggestions that he could be on his way from West Ham declaring:
“Journalists have placed me everywhere! But I currently have no contact [with other clubs] and I signed a very long contract with West Ham. It is very likely that I’ll still be here next season.”
Payet was speaking at a new conference whilst away on international duty in the build-up to Euro 2016 and insisted that he can improve further after a sensational debut campaign in the Premier League.
He sid: “It’s true that the last two years have been the best [of my career], but I still hope to progress. You can always learn and I work hard to be able to raise my level.”
Don’t think he’ll go but you can’t ever be certain
Looks like everyone is agreed if we get a silly offer at his age them club would find it hard to refuse
If he stars for France and PSG or Madrid come for him he will go because it will be his last move at his age,and he will put £50 K per week on his wages,
Shame I was hoping he would just say not going anywhere the club and fans have been great and they gave me a super new contract,
Maybe we could get Modric and £20 million for him that’s the price we should put on him that would stop the ENQUIRERS

More to the point,who was the lad kissing the girl in the Athletico Madrid section of fans.Was that Matte sneaked in to the ground to hit on some Spanish figa lol
He can hardly say definitely can he or say I will be here next season.Though it’s unlikely what happens if a silly money bid came in or him & it’s taken out of his hands.I bet if someone offered 40/50m the club would have to seriously think about it.
Tbh I would rather see a player say ‘very likely’ than some of the players that say they will definitely be staying at a club then p1ss off a week later.
I certainly am disappointed with this statement – I hope the club do not see this and give him another rise..
