The Hammers go into the game against Brighton tomorrow on the back of three consecutive defeats against Chris Hughton’s team and a horrendous performance against Burnley at the weekend.
That means one thing – we are owed a top performance despite the options in team selection being more than a bit limited.
Brighton sit two points and two places behind us in 13th position but at least there are no further injuries to concern the Irons – a small blessing mind you given the number already on the treatment table.
We understand there’s a 50 per cent chance of Zaba having recovered and hopefully Arnie will be in better shape than he was after his recent lay off against the Clarets.
Zaba could be a key to the match as should he be fit it would release Nichail Antonio into a front running rule and give the opportunity to rest a clearly out of touch Lucas Perez.
Possible team: Fabianski, Zaba, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Obiang, Rice, Antonio Anderson, Snodgrass, Arnie.
