Pelle may ring the changes tonight

Manuel Pellegrini looks certain to announce the same squad for the Manchester City clash tonight as did duty for the Fulham match.

However, although no team details have been given, it will be a surprise if at least two, possibly three changes aren’t made.

Fabian Balbuena has not made the squad but there are strong suggestions that Samir Nasri will be restored to midfield probably at the expense of Robert Snodgrass who could take a well deserved rest after making 32 appearances this season.

And the manager needs to decide whether he will launch Marko Arnautovic back into the team from the start or stick with Chicharito

Pablo Zabaleta – who suffered a dead leg before being taken off at half time against Fulham -is also available whilst Manu Lanzini is set to make another 20 minute to half an hour appearance should the game demand it.

Pellegrini’s attacking philosophy looks certain to come to the fore as he goes for a victory on his return to the club he managed between 2013-16.

Our team: Fabianski; Zaba, Ogbonna, Diop, Cresswell; Rice, Nasri, Noble, Anderson, Chicharito, Arnautovic
