Pelle muses final squad tweaks for United clash

Pablo Fornals and Jack Wilshere have been included in the Hammers squad for the clash with Manchester United at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sun) with Manu Lanzini facing a late fitness test.

A decision will be made on the Argentinian just before kick off and it’s likely to be a big moment for the young Spaniard if he is called on the take over against the Reds.

Whilst not exactly a Lanzini lookalike, should he be required Pellegrini will be looking for the creative skills and space finding abilities.

But Wilshere will also be looking for a place in the team having missed out against Norwich City and the draw at Aston Villa on Monday night.

Beyond that – whilst Fabian Balbuena remains in the squad – Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna are set to continue at central defence after the two clean sheets.

The squad is is very much as expected with Aaron Cresswell ready to stake his claims at left back and the the likes of Robert Snodgrass or even Wilshere challenging Andriy Yarmolenko for a slot in the middle of the park.
