Pelle Poll: Big thumbs up for the boss

|

Manuel Pellegrini is more than living up to the expectations of Hammers fans.

His arrival at the club was received with shout of acclamation and mini celebrations among the fans which slowed after four straight defeats.

Interspersed in an inconsistent season have been some thoroughly awful performances which we don’t need to name but the fans remain very happy at what they are seeing from the boss this season.

He has introduced a style of play reminiscent of days gone by at the club with a squad ravaged by injury and as we reach the final run in to the 2018/19 season we decided to ask the fans how happy they were – or otherwise – with what they had seen.

We posed the simple question: “Has Manuel Pellegrini’s  brand of management produced the season you would have expected -has it lived up to your expectations?”

However, so far with 1584 having cast a vote, a total of 1,415 ( 89.33pc) have given him a thumbs up with just 169 (10.67) giving him a no thanks.

If we can go on a run of impressive games and none of the poor performances of late then Pellegrini can be labelled a success.
I thought that the Nasri signing would help but he’s been injured for 4 games and only played 175 mins joining in Feb,with a calf injury . Clearly not fit to start with.
We probably need 8 wins to put us in a place for Europe, 2 draws and only 2 defeats . An undefeated run would be great.Wolves are 6 points ahead at the moment. A hard task considering their from.
Here’s hoping our recent injured players can hit the ground running. Balbuna, Arnautovic,Fredericks and Nasri especially have had a good rest. Lanzini will be like a new signing if he can show the form we know he is capable of.
8th place won’t do it.If Wolves are capable of reaching 7thour squad should do likewise.
