Pellegrini injury update

|

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed he had no new injury concerns when he spoke to reporters at Rush Green on Thursday lunchtime. The gaffer confirmed that Aaron Cresswell has trained the whole week without any problems.

On Winston Reid he said he continues to recover and will probably the next game for the U23s on Wednesday.

On Reid Pellegrini added. “It is too long for him, more than one and a half years without playing. He is a strong man, always working, I hope he will play without any problems for the U23’s”

Lukasz Fabianski and Michael Antonio remain long term injuries as they recover from operations.

However there is a slight note of caution in Pellegrini’s update, he insisted that Aaron Cresswell was fit to play last week even though he had picked up a knock so we are yet to be convinced there are no small knocks that could potentially keep a player out on Saturday.
