Pellegrini looks set to give exciting youngster his chance

|

Manuel Pellegrini is unready to let youngster Nathan Holland out of the club at least until after the League Cup clash against Newport County.

Holland has been considered a loan prospect bu the remains very much a favourite of the manager’s who reportedly  wants to give him a first chance to impress during the game in Wales.

He had been expected to make his breakthrough before now but injuries and the manager’s emphasis on midfield players has seen him involved in a wait for his chance.

However, Football Insider claims that will come against County as the former Everton youth player is likely to get the opportunity for which he has been waiting.

He will hope, if that turns out to be the case, that his progress will follow the same pattern as Grady Diangana who used the match against Macclesfeld last season as a springboard to the Premier League.

He has been touted as the young player most likely to burst through and a big performance, should Insider’s information be correct, could see the club knock back loan opportunities

There are League One and League Two loan options for Holland, and the window for such deals remains open until the end of the month.

From what I have seen in PL2 he has more about him than any of the other youth players by a distance, he is the natural replacement for Anderson if he can translate his PL2 form to the big stage. I hope he can because at the level he is playing at he has it all.
