Pellegrini shares team news ahead of Spurs

|

Manuel Pellegrini has given his first press conference at Rush Green since the International break.

Pellegrini told reporters “We had important players away from the squad but the rest of the group have trained well. Yarmolenko was the last to arrive yesterday.”

On Arnie he said “He’s OK. He played just one game, he has worked with the squad without any problems. He must be careful with his knee.”

On Maskuaku  he said “Arthur was with the national squad, he returned and works today with the squad and will see what we will do this weekend. “

On the upcoming Spurs game he added “I hope that this year, it will change for us. We need to be stronger at home, we need to play like we did against Man Utd and Chelsea, I hope we can beat Tottenham this time. They are special games for both teams. They are a very good team, lots of young players. Pochettino has done a very good job there”
