Pellegrini’s Arnautovic injury message

Manuel Pellegrini stoked up the guessing game over Marko Arnautovic’s involvement in the clash against Chelsea on Sunday during today’s pre-match pressre.

The manager was in no mood to give a view either way although ‘leaks’ have been emerging suggesting that the striker is more likely to be involved than not.

However, Pellegrini appeared to play them down when claiming that we will all have to wait and see.

He said: “Marko finished with a problem behind his knee. We will see if he is fit for Sunday. He played well against Everton and we hope he will recover.”

Arnautovic, who scored West Ham’s third and final goal at Everton shortly before being replaced is West Ham’s leading goalscorer so far this season, with three to his name from his first five appearances.

But it took Andriy Yarmolenko one hame to move within one goal of that when grabbing a brace against Everton.
