Hammers fan Kevin Bellamy has started a petition for Newham council to grant permission for a street art mural of Bobby Moore close to the one-way system in Stratford.
Bellamy has helped with financing and assisting in the production of street art wall murals around Newham with top-line mural artists including the mural the geisha girl by the fire station in Romford road The tiger in the city in Plaistow, Sir Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds mural next to the chip shop in Barking road and the Long Live the Boleyn mural next to where the Boleyn Ground once stood.
Now he wants to immortalise Mooro using the same mural artist of Gnasher “Dave’ who completed previous West Ham murals.
However, he needs your support in signing an online petition to persuade Newham Council to grant permission for the mural to be painted.

Its always been my opinion since we know we were moving to the London Stadium, that instead of having that iron eye sore they call the Orbital towering over the stadium, there should be a giant statue of Bobby Moore there instead. Or better still cover it up with a statue of Bobby. There’s even a bar right next to it we could rename The New Boleyn. Its about making the London Stadium look and feel like the home of West Ham United. But we don’t own the stadium or the Orbital, so its unlikely to happen. COYI.
Some statue. The Orbit is 114 metres high.
