Kalvin Phillips will make his Hammers debut against Bournemouth tonight as one of four changes made by manager David Moyes.
Phillips starts as one of four changes
Phillips becomes the 996th player to make his competitive first-team debut since the Club was reformed at West Ham United in June 1900.
Pablo Fornals – now believed to be on his way to Real Betis – makes way for Phillips, while fit-again Edson Álvarez also comes into the midfield in place of Maxwel Cornet
Álvarez has missed the last two games through injury, but will line up alongside Phillips, Tomáš Souček and James Ward-Prowse at London Stadium.

Mohammed Kudus replaces Danny Ings, following his return from the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations and Jarrod Bowen retains his place in attack alongside Kudus.
In defence, as expected, Ben Johnson comes in for the suspended Vladimír Coufal. Dinos Mavropanos, skipper Kurt Zouma and Emerson also start, as well as goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who came off in the dying stages of the Sheffield United draw.
FA Youth Cup winners Kaelan Casey, Lewis Orford and Ollie Scarles keep their spots on the bench from the trip to Bramall Lane, with the trio having started the U21s’ Premier League International Cup victory over Croatia’s GNK Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night.
